Devlog #3 (Out of the Ashes)

Hello everyone. It's been some time, huh? I believe the last time we talked it was before a major cataclysmic event occurred (*cough, cough* Covid). Because of said event, we had no choice but to delay our progress. In this time, we've seen heartbreaking things take place in society and watched in sadness and horror as the world changed for the worse around us. Because of this, we would like to dedicate this game to those who have to endure the pain of the pandemic, racial tension and other horrible events that have taken place in this past year. We hope that in time we can heal and have the strength to move forward.

So I'm sure you all want to hear what's going on with our game! Here are some key updates for you guys:

Current Updates
  • Development has switched from Unreal Engine 4 to Unity.
  • 1st "Level" is purely 2D (Unlike our cancelled UE4, 2.5D counterpart)
  • Sprite animation is complete
  • Basic movement and gameplay components for the 2D restricted level implemented (Currently being tested for bugs)
